ANALISIS KUALITAS AIR DENGAN PARAMETER DO DAN TDS DI SUNGAI BLIBES KEDUNGMUNDU

Sungai Blibes merupakan salah satu sungai yang mengalir melewati pemukiman penduduk, pabrik dan melalui jalanan padat kendaraan, sehingga aktivitas manusia yang meningkat berpotensi mencemari kualitas air. Penelitian ini menganalisis kualitas air di Sungai Blibes dengan prameter TDS atau Total Padatan Terlarut dan DO atau Oksigen Terlarut dengan teknik pengambilan sample dilakukan secara purposive sampling pada tiga lokasi (hulu, tengah, hilir) dan tiga kedalaman vertikal (permukaan, tengah, dasar) merepresentasikan kondisi di sepanjang aliran sungai. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kadar TDS masih berada di bawah baku mutu kelas I (<1000 ppm), sehingga tergolong aman. Namun, kadar DO di semua titik berada di bawah batas minimal 6 mg/L, dengan titik tengah menunjukkan defisit oksigen paling parah (rata-rata 1,45 mg/L), menandakan adanya pencemaran dan penurunan kualitas air yang signifikan.
The Blibes River, flowing through residential areas, factories, and densely trafficked roads, is highly susceptible to water quality degradation due to increased human activity. This research analyzed the water quality of the Blibes River using TDS and DO parameters. Samples were collected using a purposive sampling technique at three locations (upstream, middle, downstream) and three vertical depths (surface, middle, bottom/sediment) to represent the conditions along the river flow. Results indicated that TDS levels were below the Class I quality standard (<1000 ppm), indicating safe conditions. However, DO levels at all locations were below the minimum threshold of 6 mg/L, with the midstream location showing the most severe oxygen deficit (average 1.45 mg/L), indicating significant pollution and water quality degradation.
