APLIKASI COMPUTER BASED TEST BERBASIS WEB DI SMPN KARANG JAYA KABUPATEN MUSI RAWAS UTARA

Abstrak

Pengembangan sistem pendidikan di Indonesia terus beradaptasi dengan kemajuan teknologi informasi, dengan tujuan utama menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Salah satu inovasi penting adalah peralihan dari metode ujian konvensional ke Ujian Berbasis Komputer (CBT). CBT memanfaatkan teknologi informasi untuk meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pelaksanaan ujian, mengeliminasi penggunaan kertas dan pensil. Penerapan CBT diharapkan dapat menjawab tantangan dari sistem konvensional tersebut. Dengan beralih ke platform digital, sekolah dapat menghemat waktu dan biaya, serta meningkatkan akurasi dan kecepatan dalam evaluasi hasil ujian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi solusi berbasis teknologi yang dapat mengoptimalkan proses ujian di SMP N Karang Jaya, sejalan dengan visi pemerintah dalam mendorong kemajuan pendidikan melalui inovasi digital.

A key innovation is the shift from conventional testing methods to Computer-Based Testing (CBT). CBT leverages information technology to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of exams, eliminating the use of paper and pencils. The implementation of CBT is expected to address the challenges of the conventional system. By transitioning to a digital platform, schools can save time and costs, while also improving the accuracy and speed of evaluating exam results. This research aims to identify a technology-based solution to optimize the examination process at SMP N Karang Jaya, in line with the government's vision to advance education through digital innovation.
