EKSPLORASI KARIER BERBASIS GENOGRAM DAN SINERGITAS PROGRAM DI SMA LABSCHOOL UPI

Eksplorasi karier merupakan bagian penting dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling untuk membantu peserta didik memahami potensi diri serta merencanakan masa depan. Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji pemanfaatan genogram sebagai media eksplorasi karier serta sinergitas program layanan karier di SMA Labschool UPI. Penulisan artikel menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa hasil wawancara dan studi literatur. Wawancara dilakukan untuk memperoleh data primer dari informan, sedangkan studi literatur digunakan untuk memperoleh data sekunder yang mendukung analisis penelitian. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa meskipun genogram tidak digunakan dalam bentuk diagram formal, prinsip-prinsip genogram tetap diterapkan melalui wawancara dan penggalian informasi mengenai latar belakang keluarga siswa. Pendekatan tersebut membantu siswa memahami pengaruh keluarga terhadap pilihan pendidikan dan karier, sekaligus mendorong pengambilan keputusan. Selain itu, pengembangan karier siswa didukung melalui sinergi antara guru BK dan guru mata pelajaran dalam berbagai kegiatan yang berorientasi pada pengembangan keterampilan, pola pikir kritis, serta kesiapan menghadapi dunia kerja. Kolaborasi tersebut menunjukkan bahwa layanan karier yang efektif tidak hanya bergantung pada peran guru BK, tetapi juga memerlukan dukungan berbagai pihak di lingkungan sekolah. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan genogram dan sinergitas program menjadi strategi yang relevan dalam mendukung kematangan karier peserta didik.
Career exploration is an important part of guidance and counseling services to help learners understand their potential and plan for the future. This article aims to examine the use of genograms as a medium for career exploration and the synergy of career services programs at UPI Labschool high school. Article writing using descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and literature studies. Interviews were conducted to obtain primary data from informants, while literature studies were used to obtain secondary data that support research analysis. The results showed that although genograms were not used in the form of formal diagrams, the principles of genograms were still applied through interviews and extracting information about students ' family backgrounds. The approach helps students understand the influence of family on educational and career choices, while encouraging decision making. In addition, students ' career development is supported through synergy between BK teachers and subject teachers in various activities oriented to skill development, critical mindset, and readiness to face the world of work. The collaboration shows that effective career services not only depend on the role of the BK teacher, but also require the support of various parties in the school environment. Thus, the utilization of genograms and program synergies become relevant strategies in supporting the career maturity of learners.
