PERAN KEPOLISIAN NEGARA REPUBLIK INDONESIA DAERAH METRO JAYA RESOR METROPOLITAN JAKARTA BARAT TERHADAP UPAYA PENEGAKAN HUKUM TINDAK PIDANA NARKOTIKA DI KAMPUNG BONCOS PALMERAH

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Kepolisian Resor Metro Jakarta Barat terhadap penegakan hukum tindak pidana narkotika di Kampung Boncos Palmerah serta strategi pemolisian yang dilakukan Polres Jakarta Barat sebagai upaya mencegah peredaran narkotika di Kampung Boncos Palmerah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan penelitan studi kasus yang bersifat deskriptif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah Anggota Satuan Reserse Narkoba Polres Jakarta Barat dengan Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dengan cara observasi, wawancara, studi dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukan Polres Jakarta Barat melalui Satuan Reserse Narkoba telah merumuskan dan menjalankan kebijakan kebijakan untuk memberantas rantai penyebaran narkotika di Kampung Boncos Palmerah melalui razia, penyuluhan, penguatan kolaborasi dengan lembaga instansi terkait serta masyarakat sekitar serta penguatan program rehabilitasi. Namun, hambatan dan tantangan masih ditemukan salah satunya adalah kurang nya partisipasi masyarakat sekitar dalam memutus rantai penyebaran narkotika.

This research is to analyze the role of the West Jakarta Metro Police in enforcing the law on narcotics crimes in Boncos Palmerah Village as well as the policing strategy carried out by the West Jakarta Police as an effort to prevent the circulation of narcotics in Boncos Palmerah Village. The type of research used is descriptive case study research. The subjects in this research were members of the West Jakarta Police Narcotics Investigation Unit with data collection techniques carried out by means of observation, interviews, document study. The results of the research show that the West Jakarta Police, through the Narcotics Investigation Unit, have formulated and implemented policies to eradicate the chain of narcotics distribution in Boncos Palmerah Village through raids, counseling, strengthening collaboration with related agencies and the surrounding community as well as strengthening rehabilitation programs. However, obstacles and challenges are still found, one of which is the lack of participation of local communities in breaking the chain of narcotics distribution.
