RADIASI IONIZING OLEH MATAHARI, MANFAAT DAN DAMPAK NEGATIF PADA KEHIDUPAN

Abstrak

Solar radiation is energy emitted by the Sun, which is sent in all directions through space as
electromagnetic waves. There are various types of radiation produced by the sun, one of which is
ionizing radiation or often called ionization radiation. Ionizing radiation is a type of energy
released by moving atoms in the form of electromagnetic waves (gamma or X rays) or particles
(neutrons, beta or alpha). This ionization radiotion consists of various elements and particles that
have a high content. This can have an impact on human life, one example of which is cancer and
even death. Other research was conducted on ionizing radiation rays, and this showed different
results, namely that ionizing radiation rays were the main treatment for abdominal-pelvic cancer,
namely therapy. Apart from that, ionizing radiation also has an impact on plants, namely on the
development of the use of plant varieties in the fields of medicine, industry, agriculture and
research. In this article the author will discuss the various impacts and benefits caused by ionizing
radiation on life, including human, animal and plant health. By studying appropriate and reliable
literature, the author prepares an article that will contain the impacts and benefits caused by
ionizing radiation. The author will also compare the results between each piece of literature so
that it will strengthen the data and arguments that the author will convey.
