SUMBANGAN FILSAFAT BAHASA TERHADAP KEMAJUAN ILMU BAHASA DAN PENGARUHNYA TERHADAP PENDIDIKAN

Abstrak

Menentukan sejauh mana pemahaman filsafat linguistik merupakan tugas yang menantang karena
sifatnya yang rumit. Namun hal ini tidak berarti bahwa topik penyelidikan filosofis tidak tercakup
dengan baik. Seperti halnya kajian filsafat lain, misalnya filsafat alam, filsafat manusia, filsafat
sosial, dan filsafat hukum, filsafat bahasa mengkaji, menyelidiki, dan menentukan hakikat bahasa
sebagai suatu kesatuan yang berwujud. Mengingat hal ini, filsafat bahasa memandang bahasa
sebagai subjek penyelidikan filosofis, membahas hakikat bahasa itu sendiri.

Determining the extent of linguistic philosophy's comprehension is a challenging task because to
its intricate nature. This does not imply, however, that philosophy's subject of study is ambiguous.
Language philosophy investigates, examines, and attempts to ascertain the nature of language as a
material thing. It does this via studying many philosophies, including natural philosophy, human
philosophy, social philosophy, and legal philosophy, among other philosophical topics. Thus,
language as a subject of philosophical inquiry is discussed in this meaning of philosophy of
language, which also addresses the nature of language itself.
