PENGARUH FILSAFAT RENE DESCARTES TERHADAP ILMU PSIKOLOGI KOGNITIF DI ERA DIGITAL

Abstrak

Artikel ini membahas pengaruh filsafat René Descartes terhadap perkembangan ilmu psikologi kognitif, khususnya dalam konteks era digital. Descartes dikenal dengan dualisme kartesianya yang memisahkan antara pikiran dan tubuh, yang pada akhirnya memengaruhi pandangan modern tentang kesadaran dan fungsi kognitif manusia. Dualisme ini menjadi fondasi bagi banyak penelitian kognitif yang berfokus pada pemisahan antara aspek mental dan fisik. Di era digital, ketika teknologi semakin mengintegrasikan kecerdasan buatan dengan kapasitas kognitif manusia, prinsip-prinsip Cartesian ini mengalami reinterpretasi. Penelitian ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana konsep Descartes tentang rasionalitas dan kesadaran memengaruhi pengembangan model kognitif di bidang psikologi modern, termasuk dalam analisis interaksi manusia-komputer. Selain itu, artikel ini juga mengeksplorasi tantangan-tantangan yang dihadapi filsafat Cartesian dalam menghadapi realitas teknologi digital yang semakin mendekatkan manusia dengan mesin, serta potensi rekonstruksi pandangan kognitif di era ini. Dengan demikian, artikel ini memberikan kontribusi pada pemahaman mengenai hubungan historis dan filosofis antara pemikiran Descartes dan perkembangan psikologi kognitif di era digital.

This article discusses the influence of René Descartes' philosophy on the development of cognitive psychology, especially in the context of the digital era. Descartes is known for his Cartesian dualism separating mind and body, which ultimately influenced modern views of consciousness and human cognitive function. This dualism is the foundation for much cognitive research that focuses on the separation between mental and physical aspects. In the digital era, as technology increasingly integrates artificial intelligence with human cognitive capacities, these Cartesian principles are undergoing a reinterpretation. This research explores how Descartes' concepts of rationality and consciousness influenced the development of cognitive models in the field of modern psychology, including in the analysis of human-computer interaction. Apart from that, this article also explores the challenges faced by Cartesian philosophy in facing the reality of digital technology which is increasingly bringing humans closer to machines, as well as the potential for reconstructing cognitive views in this era. Thus, this article contributes to the understanding of the historical and philosophical relationship between Descartes' thought and the development of cognitive psychology in the digital era.
