ANALISIS PENDAPATAN DAN KELAYAKAN FINANSIAL USAHATANI JAGUNG HIBRIDA DI DESA LULUO KECAMATAN BILUHU KABUPATEN GORONTALO

Hybrid corn (Zea mays) is one of the crops used as farming by the people of Luluo Village because it has great economic potential in increasing farmers' income and has higher productivity compared to other corn varieties. This research aims to analyze the income and financial feasibility of hybrid corn farming in Luluo Village, Biluhu District, Gorontalo Regency. The type of research used is quantitative with a descriptive approach. The method applied includes primary data collection through direct interviews with 52 hybrid corn farmers and data analysis using income formulas, as well as R/C ratio and Break Even Point (BEP) analysis. The research results show that the average hybrid corn production reached 5,565 kg per hectare with a selling price of IDR 4,000 per kg, so that the total income of farmers reached IDR 22,259,077 per hectare. The total production costs incurred are IDR 17,736,387 per hectare, which consists of variable and fixed costs. Thus, the net income obtained by farmers is IDR 4,522,690 per hectare. R/C ratio analysis obtained a value of 1.25, which shows that this hybrid corn farming is feasible. Apart from that, the BEP analysis shows that the BEP for revenues is IDR 313,372, the BEP for production is 3,052 kg, and the BEP for prices is IDR 3,187. The conclusion of this research is that hybrid corn farming in Luluo Village, Biluhu District, Gorontalo Regency, provides significant benefits for farmers. With an R/C ratio value greater than one, as well as BEP analysis results showing profitable revenue, production and selling prices.
