Penelitian ini berfokus pada peran mediasi budaya kerja Kementerian Keuangan (Kemenkeu) dalam pengaruh komunikasi interpersonal dan komitmen profesional terhadap kinerja pegawai di Kantor Pelayanan Pajak Pratama Semarang Gayamsari. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksplanatori yang bersifat asosiatif. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh pegawai Kantor KPP Pratama Semarang Gayamsari sebanyak 88 orang, dengan teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan sampling jenuh atau sensus, yang berarti seluruh populasi dijadikan sampel. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala interval (1-5), dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik Partial Least Square (PLS). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (2) komunikasi interpersonal berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap implementasi budaya kerja Kemenkeu, (3) komitmen profesional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja pegawai, (4) komitmen profesional berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap implementasi budaya kerja Kemenkeu, dan (5) semakin baik tingkat budaya kerja Kemenkeu, semakin baik kinerja pegawai. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal, komitmen profesional, dan budaya kerja dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai di sektor pelayanan publik.
This study focuses on the mediating role of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) work culture in the influence of interpersonal communication and professional commitment on employee performance at the Semarang Gayamsari Pratama Tax Service Office. This type of research is explanatory and associative in nature. The research population consists of all employees of the Semarang Gayamsari Pratama Tax Service Office, totaling 88 individuals, with a sampling technique using a saturated sample or census, meaning the entire population is used as the sample. Data were collected through a questionnaire using an interval scale (1-5) and analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) techniques. The results show that: (1) interpersonal communication has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (2) interpersonal communication has a significant positive effect on the implementation of Kemenkeu's work culture, (3) professional commitment has a significant positive effect on employee performance, (4) professional commitment has a significant positive effect on the implementation of Kemenkeu's work culture, and (5) the better the level of Kemenkeu's work culture, the better the employee performance. This study contributes to understanding the relationship between interpersonal communication, professional commitment, and work culture in improving employee performance in the public service sector.
