This research is to determine and analyze (1) the influence of competency on employee performance. (2) the influence of motivation on competence (3) the influence of motivation on HR performance. This research uses a quantitative research approach using survey methods, namely research that aims to find out and determine the position of variables in existing conditions (status quo variables) based on existing data at the time of research and the relationship between the variables studied. The choice of this method was based on the consideration that the research included four variables with data coming from the same respondent and answering each question asked simultaneously and simultaneously. Meanwhile, the types of data used in this research are primary data and secondary data. The object of this research was 109 employees at KPP Pratama Semarang Candisari with a sampling technique using a purposive sampling method. The population used is adjusted to the research conception based on the research background, problem identification, and research objectives.
