PROSES PENGEMBANGAN KARIR TERHADAP KINERJA PERSONIL KEPOLISIAN DI POLDA JAWA TENGAH BERBASIS ASSESSMENT CENTER DAN KOMPETENSI

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran Assessment Center dan Kompetensi Profesional Polri terhadap Pengembangan Karir serta dampaknya terhadap Kinerja Personil. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan eksplanatori (explanatory research), dengan populasi penelitian sebanyak 203 SDM di Polda Jateng. Berdasarkan jumlah 17 item pertanyaan dalam kuesioner, ukuran sampel minimal yang dibutuhkan adalah 170 responden, yang diambil menggunakan teknik non-probability sampling dengan metode convenience sampling (Hair, 2021). Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dengan skala pengukuran interval (skor 1–5). Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan metode Partial Least Square (PLS) untuk menguji model persamaan struktural. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1)  Assessment Center  berpengaruh positif  terhadap Kinerja  Personil;  (2) Assessment Center berpengaruh positif terhadap Pengembangan Karir; (3) Kompetensi Profesional Polri berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Personil; (4) Kompetensi Profesional Polri berpengaruh positif terhadap Pengembangan Karir; dan (5) Pengembangan Karir berpengaruh positif terhadap Kinerja Personil. Temuan ini menegaskan pentingnya Assessment Center dan Kompetensi Profesional Polri dalam mendukung pengembangan karir serta peningkatan kinerja personil.

 

This study aims to analyze the role of the Assessment Center and Professional Competency of the Indonesian National Police (Polri) in Career Development and their impact on Personnel Performance. The research adopts an explanatory approach, with a population of 203 human resources from the Central Java Regional Police (Polda Jateng). Based on the 17 -question items in the questionnaire, the minimum sample size required is 170 respondents, obtained using a non-probability sampling technique with convenience sampling (Hair, 2021). Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire with an interval scale (scores 1–5). Data analysis was performed using Partial Least Squares (PLS) structural equation modeling to test the hypothesized relationships. The research findings indicate that: (1) the Assessment Center has a positive influence on Personnel Performance; (2) the Assessment Center has a positive influence on Career Development; (3) Professional Competency of Polri has a positive influence on Personnel Performance; (4) Professional Competency of Polri has a positive influence on Career Development; and (5) Career Development has a positive influence on Personnel Performance. These findings underscore the importance of the Assessment Center and Professional Competency of Polri in supporting career development and enhancing personnel performance.
