PENGARUH PENDIDIKAN KESEHATAN DENGAN MEDIA KOMIK TERHADAP KESIAPAN REMAJA MENGHADAPI MENARCHE

Abstrak

Masa remaja adalah masa transisi atau peralihan antara masa kanak-kanak menuju masa dewasa. Saat masa pubertas, seorang remaja perempuan akan mengalami menstruasi pertama yang disebut dengan menarche. Kesiapan menghadapi menarche adalah kondisi yang menunjukkan bahwa seseorang siap untuk mencapai salah satu tanda kematangan fisik yaitu dimulainya menstruasi. Kurangya kesiapan dalam menghadapi menarche dapat berdampak negatif pada remaja, dengan pendidikan kesehatan melalui media komik terkait menarche dapat memberikan kesiapan bagi remaja dalam menghadapi menarche. Tujuan: Mengetahui adanya pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan dengan media komik terhadap kesiapan remaja menghadapi menarche. Metode: Penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian quasi eksperiment design. Menggunakan rancangan one group pre-test and post-test. Pengambilan sampel penelitian dengan Teknik total sampling. Dari sampel yang telah diambil berjumlah 25 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini berupa kuesioner kesiapan yang telah diuji validitas dan reabilitas oleh peneliti sebelumnya. Uji analisa data bivariat yang digunakan adalah Uji-Wilcoxon signed - Test. Hasil: Dari Uji Wilcoxon signed – Test didapatkan hasil Asymp. Sig (2-Tailed) adalah 0,000 < 0,05. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Kesimpulan: Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah diberikan Pendidikan Kesehatan Dengan Media Komik terhadap kesiapan remaja menghadapi menarche di MI Muhammadiyah Kemasan Polokarto.

Adolescence is a transition period or transition between childhood and adulthood. During puberty, a teenage girl will experience her first menstruation called menarche. Readiness to face menarche is a condition that shows that a person is ready to reach one of the signs of physical maturity, namely the onset of menstruation. Lack of readiness to face menarche can have a negative impact on adolescents, with health education through comic media related to menarche can provide readiness for adolescents in facing menarche. Objectives: This study is to determine the influence of health education with comic media on adolescents' readiness to face menarche. Methods: This study is quantitative with a quasi-experimental design research design. Using one group pre-test and post-test design. Sampling of research with total sampling technique. From the sample that has been taken, there are 25 students. The instrument used in this study is in the form of a readiness questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability by previous researchers. The bivariate data analysis test used is the Wilcoxon signed - Test test. Results: from the Wilcoxon Signed Test – Test obtained Asymp results. Sig (2-Tailed) is 0.000 < 0.05. It can be concluded that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Conclusion: There is a significant influence before and after the provision of Health Education with Comic Media on the readiness of adolescents to face menarche at MI Muhammadiyah Kemasan Polokarto.
