PENGARUH KEPERCAYAAN DIRI DAN KEAKTIFAN BERORGANISASI TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN PUBLIC SPEAKING MAHASISWA PRODI PENDIDIKAN ADMINISTRASI PERKANTORAN ANGKATAN 2021 UNIVERSITAS NEGERI MEDAN

Abstrak

Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepercayaan diri dan keaktifan berorganisasi terhadap kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Angkatan 2021 Universitas Negeri Medan. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah kepercayaan diri dan keaktifan berorganisasi sebagai variabel bebas dan kemampuan public speaking sebagai variable terikat. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah seluruh mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Angkatan 2021. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Total Sampling, Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 88 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui penyebaran angket kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linear berganda, uji instrumen, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan SPSS versi 29.0 for Macbook. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara kepercayaan diri terhadap kemampuan public speaking mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Administrasi Perkantoran Angkatan 2021. Hal ini dilakukan dengan cara membandingan thitung dengan ttabel. Diketahui nilai thitung > ttabel sebesar 9,867 > 1,989 dan nilai signifikansinya 0,001 < 0,05 dengan taraf signifikansi sebesar 95% ini berarti hipotesis diterima. Sedangkan nilai thitung > ttabel sebesar 2,938 > 1,989 dan nilai signifikansinya 0,004 < 0,05 dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 95% berarti hipotesis diterima. Besar R Square (koefisien determinasi) adalah 0,619 atau sama dengan 61,9%. Sedangkan sisanya adalah 38,1% dipengaruhi oleh variable lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian ini.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of self-confidence and organizational involvement on the public speaking skills of students in the Office Administration Education Program, Class of 2021, Medan State University. The variables in this study are self-confidence and organizational involvement as independent variables and public speaking skills as the dependent variable. The population of this study was all students of the Office Administration Education Study Program. The sampling technique used total sampling, with a population of 88 students. Data collection was conducted through the distribution of questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were multiple linear regression analysis, instrument testing, and hypothesis testing with the help of SPSS version 29.0 for Macbook. The results of the study show that there is a significant effect between self-confidence and public speaking skills among students in the Office Administration Education Study Program. This was done by comparing the t-value with the t-table. It is known that the t-value is > t-table, namely 9.867 > 1.989, and the significance value is 0.001 < 0.05 with a significance level of 95%, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. Meanwhile, the t-value is greater than the t-table value, 2.938 > 1.989, and the significance value is 0.004 < 0.05 with a significance level of 95%, which means that the hypothesis is accepted. The R Square (coefficient of determination) is 0.619 or equal to 61.9%. The remaining 38.1% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
