Abstrak

Perubahan cepat di pasar kerja akibat digitalisasi dan dampak pandemi menuntut perguruan tinggi tidak hanya menghasilkan lulusan berkompetensi akademik, tetapi juga memiliki kemampuan employability tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji peran Career Center (Career Development Center/CDC) dan keterlibatan alumni dalam meningkatkan kesiapan kerja mahasiswa di Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan ialah literature review terhadap studi nasional tahun 2020–2025 yang diperoleh melalui Google Scholar, Garuda, dan Sinta. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa Career Center berperan penting dalam menyediakan informasi lowongan, bimbingan karir, pelatihan soft skills, serta tracer study yang berdampak positif terhadap kesiapan karir mahasiswa. Digitalisasi layanan melalui sistem berbasis web meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data alumni dan memperkuat jejaring antara kampus, alumni, dan dunia industri. Keberhasilan program Career Center ditentukan oleh integrasi teknologi, kapasitas SDM pengelola, dan keterlibatan aktif alumni. Namun, keterbatasan sumber daya dan dukungan kelembagaan masih menjadi kendala utama. Penguatan kolaborasi dan kebijakan institusional diperlukan agar Career Center mampu berfungsi optimal dalam meningkatkan daya saing lulusan. 

The rapid changes in the labor market driven by digitalization and the impact of the pandemic have compelled higher education institutions to produce not only academically competent graduates but also those with strong employability skills. This study aims to examine the role of Career Centers (Career Development Centers/CDC) and alumni involvement in enhancing students’ job readiness in Indonesia. The method employed is a literature review of national studies published between 2020 and 2025, sourced from Google Scholar, Garuda, and Sinta. The findings indicate that Career Centers play a crucial role in providing job information, career guidance, soft skills training, and tracer studies, all of which positively influence students’ career readiness. The digitalization of services through web-based systems improves the efficiency of alumni data management and strengthens networking among universities, alumni, and industry. The success of Career Center programs depends on technological integration, the capacity of human resources, and active alumni engagement. However, limited resources and institutional support remain major challenges. Strengthening collaboration and institutional policies is essential for Career Centers to function optimally in enhancing graduate competitiveness.
