PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN TERHADAP PEMAHAMAN KONSEP FISIKA PADA SISWA KELAS XI A1 SMA NEGERI 3 KUPANG

Abstrak

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana metode pembelajaran yang diterapkan guru berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep fisika pada siswa kelas XI A1 SMA Negeri 3 Kupang. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei, observasi, dan tes pemahaman konsep. Instrumen yang digunakan meliputi angket respons siswa terhadap metode pembelajaran, lembar observasi aktivitas belajar, dan tes konsep fisika pada materi yang diajarkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode pembelajaran yang digunakan guru kombinasi diskusi kelompok, demonstrasi, dan latihan soal berpengaruh positif terhadap pemahaman konsep siswa. Nilai rata-rata meningkat dari 62,8 menjadi 84,1 setelah penerapan metode tersebut. Siswa juga menunjukkan respons positif karena metode ini membuat konsep lebih mudah dipahami.

This study aims to determine how the teaching methods applied by the teacher influence the conceptual understanding of physics among Grade XI A1 students at SMA Negeri 3 Kupang. The research employed a quantitative approach using surveys, classroom observations, and concept mastery tests. The instruments used included a student response questionnaire regarding the teaching methods, an observation sheet to assess learning activities, and a physics concept test based on the material taught. The findings indicate that the combination of group discussions, demonstrations, and practice exercises used by the teacher has a positive impact on students’ conceptual understanding. The average score increased from 62.8 to 84.1 after the implementation of these methods. Students also showed positive responses, noting that the varied methods helped them understand the concepts more easily. Overall, the teaching approach was effective in supporting students’ comprehension of physics concepts.
