PENGALAMAN GURU SMA DALAM MENGELOLA KONFLIK KELAS MELALUI KOMUNIKASI EDUKATIF

Abstrak

Konflik kelas merupakan hal yang kerap terjadi dalam proses pembelajaran di SMA akibat perbedaan karakter dan latar belakang peserta didik. Guru berperan penting dalam mengelola konflik tersebut melalui komunikasi edukatif agar tercipta suasana belajar yang kondusif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengalaman guru SMA dalam mengelola konflik kelas melalui komunikasi edukatif. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan guru SMA dan dianalisis secara tematik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi edukatif yang bersifat persuasif, empatik, dan dialogis membantu guru dalam meredakan konflik serta membangun hubungan positif dengan peserta didik.

Classroom conflict is a common phenomenon in the teaching and learning process at senior high schools due to differences in students’ characters and backgrounds. Teachers play an important role in managing these conflicts through educative communication to create a conducive learning environment. This study aims to describe senior high school teachers’ experiences in managing classroom conflict through educative communication. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data were collected through interviews with senior high school teachers and analyzed thematically. The findings indicate that persuasive, empathetic, and dialogical communication helps teachers reduce conflict and build positive relationships with students.
