PENERAPAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN THINK PAIR SHARE DALAM MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN MENULIS PUISI SISWA KELAS VIIA SMPS KATOLIK CHRISTO REGI TAHUN AJARAN 2025/2026

Abstrak

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimanakah penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIIA SMPS Katolik Christo Regi Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026? Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan mendeskripsikan peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIIA SMPS Katolik Christo Regi tahun ajaran 2025/2026. Jenis pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode tes. Tes yang dimaksud adalah bentuk tes tertulis yaitu melalui (pretest dan posttest), data yang digunakan adalah data tulis berupa hasil pekerjaan siswa kelas VIIA SMPS Katolik Christo Regi Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026 dalam menulis puisi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, adalah teori puisi, Strategi belajar mengajar, Think pair Share dan teori Evaluasi pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan  bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIIA SMPS Katolik Christo Regi Tahun Ajaran 20225/2026 dinyatakan baik. Siswa kelas VIIA SMPS Katolik Christo Regi Tahun Ajaran 2025/2026 yang mampu melakukan  penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair share dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi berjumlah 19 orang dengan presentase 79,17% . Penerapan model pembelajaran Think Pair Share dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menulis puisi siswa kelas VIIA SMPS Katolik Christo Regi Tahun Ajaran 20225/2026 dikatakan berhasil baik dengan nilai rata-rata 78,16%.

The problem in this research is how does the implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model improve the poetry writing skills of Grade VIIA students at Christo Regi Catholic Junior High School in the 2025/2026 Academic Year? This study aims to determine and describe the improvement in the poetry writing skills of Grade VIIA students at Christo Regi Catholic Junior High School in the 2025/2026 academic year. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach, with the research method used in this study being a test method. The test in question is a written test, consisting of a pretest and posttest. The data used are written work from students of grade VIIA of Christo Regi Catholic Junior High School in the 2025/2026 academic year on poetry writing. The theories used in this study include poetry theory, teaching and learning strategies, Think Pair Share, and learning evaluation theory. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model in improving the poetry writing skills of grade VIIA students of Christo Regi Catholic Junior High School in the 2025/2026 academic year is considered effective. Nineteen students of grade VIIA of Christo Regi Catholic Junior High School in the 2025/2026 academic year were able to apply the Think Pair Share learning model to improve their poetry writing skills, representing 79.17%. The implementation of the Think Pair Share learning model in improving the poetry writing skills of grade VIIA students of Christo Regi Catholic Junior High School in the 2025/2026 academic year was considered successful, with an average score of 78.16%.
