PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN PROBLEM BASED LEARNING BERBANTU APLIKASI GENIALLY TERHADAP KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS

Abstrak

Kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa pada mata pelajaran IPA di Indonesia pada tingkat sekolah dasar masih belum terasah dengan baik. Rendahnya kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa disebabkan seperti dalam proses pembelajaran hanya berpusat pada guru dan guru lebih banyak yang berbicara. Pada pembelajaran abad 21 ini sebagai guru harus dapat berinovasi pada media pembelajaran dan menggunakan model pembelajaran yang tepat untuk menarik perhatian siswa agar dapat menambah keterampilan berpikir kritisnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh model Problem Based Larning berbantu aplikasi Genially terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan data kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Nonequivalent dengan menggunakan Posttest Only Control Design, dengan diberikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada kelas eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas  IV A sebagai kelas eksperimen dan IV B sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini adalah dengan tes. Analisis data menggunakan uji independent sample t-test yang sebelumnya di uji prasyarat yaitu uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan adanya pengaruh secara signifikan model pembelajaran Problem Based Larning berbantu aplikasi Genially terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa kelas IV dibanding dengan model konvensional.

This research uses a qualitative approach aimed at finding out Students' critical thinking skills in science subjects in Indonesia at primary school level are still not well honed. The low critical thinking ability of students is due to the fact that the learning process is only centered on the teacher and the teacher talks more. In 21st century learning, teachers must be able to innovate in learning media and use appropriate learning models to attract students' attention so they can increase their critical thinking skills. This research aims to determine whether there is an influence of the Problem Based Larning model assisted by the Genially application on critical thinking abilities. This research uses a quantitative data approach. The type of research carried out in this research is Quasi Nonequivalent using Posttest Only Control Design, with a Problem Based Learning learning model in the experimental class. The population in this study was class IV A as the experimental class and IV B as the control class. The data collection technique in this research is by tests. Data analysis used the independent sample t-test which was previously tested as a prerequisite, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. The results of this research show that there is a significant influence of the Problem Based Larning learning model assisted by the Genially application on the critical thinking abilities of class IV students compared to the conventional model.
