ANALISIS KOMPETENSI PEDAGOGIK GURU TERHADAP MINAT BELAJAR SISWA PADA KELAS IV DI SEKOLAH DASAR INPRES FATUFETO 2 KOTA KUPANG

Abstrak

Nahak, S.Pd., M.Pd Kompetensi pedagogik guru merupakan kemampuan guru dalam memahami karakteristik peserta didik, merancang, melaksanakan, serta mengevaluasi pembelajaran. Minat belajar siswa adalah kecenderungan perhatian, ketertarikan, dan keterlibatan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan minat belajar siswa kelas IV di SD Inpres Fatufeto 2. Metode Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain survei. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 58 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, sedangkan analisis data dilakukan melalui uji reliabilitas, uji normalitas, uji linearitas, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan bahwa instrumen reliabel dengan nilai Cronbach’s Alpha sebesar 0,797 pada variabel kompetensi pedagogik dan 0,610 pada variabel minat belajar. Uji normalitas menunjukkan data berdistribusi normal dengan signifikansi 0,07 dan 0,190 (> 0,05). Uji linearitas menunjukkan hubungan linear dengan nilai signifikansi 0,246 (> 0,05). Uji hipotesis menggunakan korelasi Pearson menunjukkan nilai r = 0,384 dengan signifikansi 0,003 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dan minat belajar siswa. Kesimpulan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara kompetensi pedagogik guru dengan minat belajar siswa, meskipun tingkat hubungan berada pada kategori rendah. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin baik kompetensi pedagogik guru, maka minat belajar siswa cenderung meningkat.

Students’ learning interest refers to the tendency of attention, attraction, and involvement of students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between teachers’ pedagogical competence and the learning interest of fourth-grade students at SD Inpres Fatufeto 2. This research employed a quantitative approach with a survey design. The sample consisted of 58 students. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed through reliability tests, normality tests, linearity tests, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the instruments were reliable with Cronbach’s Alpha values of 0.797 for the pedagogical competence variable and 0.610 for the learning interest variable. The normality test indicated that the data were normally distributed with significance values of 0.07 and 0.190 (> 0.05). The linearity test showed a linear relationship with a significance value of 0.246 (> 0.05). Hypothesis testing using Pearson correlation obtained r = 0.384 with a significance value of 0.003 < 0.05, indicating a positive and significant relationship between teachers’ pedagogical competence and students’ learning interest.

It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship between teachers’ pedagogical competence and students’ learning interest, although the level of correlation is low. This indicates that the better the teachers’ pedagogical competence, the higher the students’ learning interest tends to be.
