Abstrak

This study aims to determine whether the student workload factors from previous studies, consisting of time, resources, effort, student ability, and motivation, affect the workload of students in the Accounting Education Study Program, particularly in accounting learning. This study is a quantitative descriptive with a survey design. The sampling technique used is simple random sampling. The data collection technique used was a questionnaire. Instrument validity was tested using content validity and Pearson's product-moment correlation. Data analysis was conducted using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA). The results of the study prove that the five factors mentioned above significantly influence student workload in the Accounting Education Program, particularly in accounting learning, with p-values <0.05 for each variable and fulfilling the critical ratio for each variable. The goodness-of-fit obtained from the data analysis indicates that the model is not well-fitted due to one of the requirements not being fulfilled. The cause of the poor fit is that some indicators are “biased.” Therefore, it can be concluded that the five factors of student workload significantly influence students in accounting learning, but some indicators of these factors are “biased.”
