PENGGUNAAN MEDIA GAMBAR DALAM PEMBELAJARAN BAHASA ARAB

The use of instructional media plays an important role in improving the effectiveness of the teaching and learning process, especially in Arabic language learning. One of the media frequently used is image media because it helps students understand vocabulary and learning materials more concretely and attractively. This study aims to determine the use of image media in Arabic language learning and its influence on students’ understanding and learning interest. The research method used is library research by collecting various data sources in the form of books, scientific journals, and relevant articles related to the use of image media in Arabic language learning. The data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach through the processes of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the use of image media can improve students’ understanding of Arabic vocabulary, facilitate students in remembering learning materials, increase learning motivation, and create a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Therefore, image media can be considered an effective alternative instructional media in supporting the success of Arabic language learning.
