PEMBAHARUAN MAKNA ISTIWA’ TERHADAP KETAUHITAN PERSPEKTIF WAHBAH AZ-ZUHAILI DALAM KITAB TAFSIR AL-MUNIR

Abstrak

Kajian mengenai lafaz istiwa’ dalam al-Qur’an merupakan pembahasan penting dalam studi tafsir, karena berkaitan langsung dengan pemahaman tentang sifat-sifat Allah dan kekuasaan Allah Swt. Perbedaan cara memahami istiwa’ sering kali memunculkan kesalahpahaman yang berpotensi mengganggu kemurnian tauhid. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis makna istiwa’ menurut Wahbah az-Zuhaili dalam kitab tafsir al-Munir serta menjelaskan relevansinya dengan konsep tauhid yang terkandung dalam Q.S. al-Baqarah ayat 29. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan (library research), dengan sumber utamanya ialah tafsir al-Munir dan didukung oleh literatur tafsir serta buku-buku akidah atau tauhid yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Wahbah az-Zuhaili memahami istiwa’ sebagai bentuk kekuasaan dan pengaturan Allah Swt atas alam semesta tanpa menisbatkan sifat fisik atau menyerupakan Allah Swt dengan makhluknya. Penafsiran ini menegaskan bahwa Allah Swt Maha Suci dari keterikatan ruang dan waktu. Relevansi istiwa’ dengan tauhid terlihat jelas dalam penguatan tauhid rububiyah melalui pengakuan atas kekuasaan Allah sebagai pencipta dan pengatur alam, tauhid uluhiyah melalui penegasan bahwa hanya Allah yang berhak disembah, serta tauhid asma wa sifat dengan penetapan sifat Allah secara benar. Dengan demikian, penafsiran istiwa’ menurut Wahbah az-Zuhaili memberikan kontribusi penting dalam membangun pemahaman tauhid yang lurus bagi umat Islam.

The study of the word istiwa' in the Qur'an is an important discussion in the study of tafsir, because it is directly related to the understanding of the attributes of Allah SWT and the power of Alla. Differences in the way of understanding istiwa' often lead to misunderstandings that have the potential to disrupt the purity of monotheism. This research aims to analyze the meaning of istiwa' according to Wahbah az-Zuhaili in the book of tafsir al-Munir and explain its relevance to the concept of monotheism contained in Q.S. al-Baqarah verse 29. This research uses a qualitative method with a library research approach, with the main source being tafsir al-Munir and supported by the literature of tafsir and relevant books of aqidah or monotheism. The results of the research show that Wahbah az-Zuhaili understands istiwa' as a form of power and regulation of Allah SWT over the universe without attributing physical properties or likening Allah to His creatures. This interpretation emphasizes that Allah is Most Holy from the bonds of space and time. The relevance of istiwa' with monotheism is clearly seen in the strengthening of monotheism of Rububiyah through the recognition of the power of Allah as the creator and regulator of the universe, monotheism of uluhiyah through the affirmation that only Allah has the right to be worshipped, and monotheism of names and attributes by correctly determining the attributes of Allah. Thus, the interpretation of istiwa' according to Wahbah az-Zuhaili makes an important contribution in building a straight understanding of monotheism for Muslims.
