Abstrak

Human Resource (HR) Planning is a key pillar in building a competitive, adaptive, and sustainable organization. Human Resource planning not only includes determining the number of workers needed, but also competency development, readiness to face changes in the business environment, and integration with the overall organizational strategy. This article describes the basic concepts of Human Resource planning, objectives, benefits, process stages, and internal and external factors that influence its effectiveness. In addition, techniques and methods that can be used to evaluate Human Resource planning systematically and based on data are also discussed. With a comprehensive approach, Human Resource planning becomes a strategic instrument in optimizing human resources to drive productivity, increase operational efficiency, and strengthen organizational competitiveness amidst the dynamics of globalization and rapid technological developments. This discussion is expected to be a practical reference for academics, practitioners, and policy makers in developing superior and adaptive Human Resource strategies to future challenges.
