DIGITALISASI EKONOMI SYARIAH: MENUJU ERA BARU EKONOMI ISLAM DI INDONESIA

Abstrak

Digitalization has become an unavoidable phenomenon in global economic development, including
in the context of sharia economics in Indonesia. This article reviews the impact of digitalization on
the transformation of the sharia economy, with a focus on the application of information and
communication technology (ICT) in expanding accessibility, increasing operational efficiency, and
facilitating innovation in sharia financial products and services. Through literature analysis and
case studies, this journal presents an overview of how digitalization can open up new opportunities
for the development of an inclusive and sustainable Islamic economy in Indonesia. Apart from that,
this journal also identifies the challenges faced in the digitalization process of the sharia economy,
including regulatory issues, technology security, and technology adoption by stakeholders. This
journal uses a qualitative approach to literature study regarding the digitalization of sharia
economics from various economic aspects, both microeconomics and macroeconomics. strategies
that can be implemented to encourage further digitalization in the sharia economy in Indonesia
include expanding digital infrastructure, increasing digital literacy among the public, collaboration
between sharia financial institutions and financial technology (fintech), as well as formulating
policies that support innovation and sustainable growth of the sharia economy
