Abstrak

Manajemen SDM bertujuan memastikan perusahaan memiliki tenaga kerja berkualitas melalui perekrutan, pengembangan, dan pemeliharaan karyawan. Keberhasilan perusahaan bergantung pada kualitas karyawan, dan sistem reward serta punishment digunakan untuk mengelola kinerja dan mendukung pencapaian tujuan organisasi.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui persepsi karyawan mengenai sistem reward dan punishment serta pengaruhnya dalam meningkatkan kinerja di PT Denso Manufacturing Indonesia. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan kualitatif yang melibatkan wawancara mendalam dan observasi langsung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karyawan memiliki persepsi yang beragam terhadap penerapan sistem reward dan punishment di perusahaan. Secara umum, sistem reward diakui memberikan motivasi yang signifikan, namun sistem punishment dinilai masih memerlukan perbaikan agar lebih adil dan transparan. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah sistem reward dan punishment yang efektif dapat berkontribusi dalam peningkatan kinerja karyawan jika dikelola dengan baik.

Human resource management (HRM) aims to ensure that companies have a qualified workforce through recruitment, development, and maintenance of employees. A company's success depends on the quality of its workforce, and reward and punishment systems are used to manage performance and support the achievement of organizational goals. This study aims to understand employees' perceptions of the reward and punishment system and its impact on improving performance at PT Denso Manufacturing Indonesia. The research was conducted using a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews and direct observation. The results show that employees have diverse perceptions regarding the implementation of the reward and punishment system in the company. In general, the reward system is recognized as providing significant motivation, while the punishment system is perceived to require improvements to ensure greater fairness and transparency. The conclusion of this study is that an effectively managed reward and punishment system can contribute to enhancing employee performance.
