STUDI LITERATUR : PENTINGNYA IMPLEMENTASI SISTEM MANAJEMEN KESEHATAN DAN KESELAMATAN KERJA DI PERUSAHAAN MANUFAKTUR

Abstrak

Jurnal ini mengkaji pentingnya implementasi sistem manajemen keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (SMK3) di sektor manufaktur. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami konsep keselamatan dan kesehatan kerja (K3), serta menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi kecelakaan kerja di industri manufaktur. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kajian literatur untuk mengidentifikasi faktor risiko dan praktik keselamatan di lingkungan kerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan SMK3 secara efektif dapat menurunkan tingkat kecelakaan kerja melalui perencanaan, pengawasan, dan penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD). Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa kecelakaan kerja dalam industri manufaktur sering disebabkan oleh tindakan tidak aman (unsafe action) dan kondisi lingkungan yang berbahaya (unsafe condition). Penelitian ini menyarankan perlunya peningkatan pelatihan keselamatan kerja serta peninjauan berkala terhadap kebijakan SMK3 untuk memastikan keselamatan dan kesehatan pekerja.

This journal examines the importance of implementing an occupational safety and health management system (SMK3) in the manufacturing sector. The main objective of this research is to understand the concept of occupational safety and health (K3), as well as analyze the factors that influence work accidents in the manufacturing industry. This research uses a literature review method to identify risk factors and safety practices in the work environment. The research results show that implementing SMK3 can effectively reduce the level of work accidents through planning, supervision and use of personal protective equipment (PPE). In addition, it was found that work accidents in the manufacturing industry are often caused by unsafe actions and dangerous environmental conditions. This research suggests the need for increased work safety training as well as regular reviews of SMK3 policies to ensure worker safety and health.
